Introduction
An Online Tourism Services Website allows users to explore and book tour packages for different destinations. The system provides a platform for travelers to view destinations, explore available tour packages, check itinerary details and inclusions, and make online bookings with secure payment. We have developed the system using PHP, JavaScript, and MySQL database.
Features of Online Tourism Services Project
User Registration and Authentication:
- Allows users to create accounts, log in securely, and manage their bookings.
- Displays available destinations and their tour packages with details like duration, price, itinerary, inclusions, gallery and descriptions.
- Enables users to select a destination, choose a package, and complete their bookings online.
- Allows users to make online payments during booking. The system is integrated with the PayU payment gateway for secure transactions.
- Lets users manage their bookings, download payment receipt, view travel history, and update personal information.
User can give review and ratings to tour packages.

- Implements search and filter options to help users find tour packages based on destination, duration, or price range.

How to Run the Online Tourism Services Project
- Download and Install any local web server such as XAMPP .
- Download the provided source code zip file.
- (A Google Drive link will be provided after payment.)
- Open your XAMPP Control Panel and start Apache and MySQL.
- Extract the downloaded source code zip file.
- Copy the extracted project folder and paste it into the XAMPP’s htdocs directory.
- Open PHPMyAdmin in your browser:
- http://localhost/phpmyadmin
- Create a new database named online_tourism.
- Import the provided SQL file — located inside the database folder as online_tourism.sql.
- Run the project in your browser:
- http://localhost/online-tourism/
