Introduction
A Car Rental Services Website allows users to book a car online for a specific period of time. The Car Rental Services website provides a platform for customers to rent cars, view available cars, and book cars by making a payment. We have developed the system using PHP, Javascript, and MySql database.
Features of Car Rental System Project
- User Registration and Authentication: Allow users to create accounts and log in securely.
- Car Listings: Display available cars with details like model, make year, price, and availability dates.
- Booking System: Enable users to select rental dates, choose a car, and complete bookings.
- Payment Integration: Allows user to pay online during the booking of a car. We have integrated the Payu payment gateway with our app.
- User Profiles: This allows users to manage their bookings, view rental history, and update personal information.
- Admin Panel: Provide an admin dashboard to manage cars, bookings, users, brands, etc.
- Search and Filters: Implement search and filter options to help users find cars based on criteria like brand, model, price, etc.

How to run the Car Rental Services Project
- Download and Install any local web server such as XAMPP (With PHP version 7.4).
- Download the provided source code zip file. (A Google Drive link will be provided after payment)
- Open your XAMPP Control Panel and start Apache and MySQL.
- Extract the downloaded source code zip file.
- Copy the extracted source code folder and paste it into the XAMPP's "htdocs" directory
- Browse the PHPMyAdmin in a browser. i.e. **http://localhost/phpmyadmin**
- Create a new database named car_rental.
- Import the provided SQL file. The file is known as car_rental.sql located inside the database folder.
- Browse the Car Rental Services System in a browser. i.e. **http://localhost/car-rental/**.
- Or You can run the development server in the project's root directory i.e php -S localhost:4000
